Description: small and fast Node.js path utilities
 empathic is a collection of tiny helpers for the filesystem path lookups that
 command line tools and build systems keep reimplementing. It is split into
 five independent entry points:
 .
  * empathic/access: check whether a path exists, is readable, writable or
    executable;
  * empathic/walk: iterate over a directory and its parents;
  * empathic/find: locate a file or directory by walking parent directories;
  * empathic/package: locate the nearest package.json, its directory, or a
    cache directory inside node_modules/.cache;
  * empathic/resolve: resolve module identifiers relative to a directory or
    a file URL.
 .
 Each entry point is published both as CommonJS and as native ECMAScript
 modules, with TypeScript type definitions and no runtime dependencies.
 .
 Node.js is an event-based server-side JavaScript engine.
